Recovery for Interbase repairs corrupted Interbase / Firebird databases (.gdb, .ib, .fdb).

Supported Interbase / Firebird versions:
2007, 7.5, 7.1, 7.0 and 6.5 (.gdb, .ib); 2.1, 2.0, 1.5 and 1.0.0 (.fdb)

The recovered data is saved into a set of SQL files to be used for rebuilding Interbase / Firebird database. This can be done manually or using an auto-generated rebuild batch file.

Limitations

It is strongly recommended to use recovery results with the same Interbase / Firebird version as one the corrupted file has been created with. Importing recovered results into database of different Interbase / Firebird version may result in loosing data or database objects.
This limitation applies to both downgrade and upgrade of Interbase / Firebird version.

• Operating system: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 2003 Server or 2008 Server. Windows 95, 98, ME are not supported.
• RAM: 256-1024 MB (depends on database size and corruption range)
• Hard Disk: minimum 10 MB of free space required for installation
• Display: 640 x 480 or higher resolution, 256 colors
