PixRecovery Gives Users More Flexibility with Output Formats

Users of PixRecovery now can choose the format to save the recovered images in. The updated PixRecovery allows selecting between saving in original file format (JPEG, GIF, TIFF or BMP) and standard Windows bitmap (BMP).

When using 'Recover corrupted file in bitmap format' option, PixRecovery stores data as uncompressed BMP file. This is useful if further lossless editing of the image is planned.

If a one-step recovery into original file format is preferred, use 'Recover corrupted file in original format' option and a compressed JPEG, GIF or TIFF file will be produced.
