General:
Recovery for Exchange Server is capable of performing EDB to PST conversion on both healthy and corrupted email databases. EDB-PST converter has many applications in the course of Exchange Server management. When converting Exchange EDB to PST with Recovery for Exchange Server, it is possible to select folders to be exported.
While databases can be as large as hundreds of gigabytes in case of Exchange EDB, PST files are typically much smaller than that. To extract PST from EDB, a subset of email messages must be selected. When this is done, press the Save button on the toolbar, and Recovery for Exchange Server will fix EDB to PST.
A common reason to export EDB to PST is migrating part of an Exchange email database to Outlook. Another incentive to export PST from EDB is extracting important emails from a damaged Exchange store that cannot be attached to server.
The difference between demo and full version is that the demo version recovers only several messages in each mailbox while leaving the others blank. The file attachments also left unrecovered with the demo version.
Except that, the demo and full versions are identical and comply with the same set of specifications. This means that if demo does not support a certain feature, neither full version will do.
If due to file damage an entire object (such as a folder) has been lost, the full version will not be able to recover it. A folder missing from a demo-recovered file will remain missing with the full version.
